Bleis Hotel Bologna
From Friday evening to Sunday morning
Three days in Bologna?
Bleis Hotel is here to guide you!
Friday evening
You’ve just arrived in Bologna, dropped your bags in the room and don’t want to waste a single minute? Start enjoying the city with a stroll through the Quadrilatero district; walking under the porticos, you’ll reach the beautiful Piazza Maggiore.
You can take this chance for an aperitivo in the city centre, maybe at a wine bar, and end the evening with dinner in a traditional trattoria.
Of course, you can’t miss the typical Bolognese dishes: tagliatelle al ragù, tortellini in broth, or the famous Bolognese-style cutlet.
Saturday
Saturday morning, the alarm goes off early: yes to relaxing, but Bologna is calling!
After a great breakfast at the hotel, it’s time for the Two Towers, endless porticos, and a bit of shopping in the city’s best boutiques.
For lunch, try the Mercato delle Erbe: you’ll find street food, crescentine, salumi and a good glass of wine. All artisanal and full of flavour!
In the afternoon, take it slow but keep discovering: visit the Santo Stefano complex, the Archiginnasio, or maybe a show at Palazzo Fava.
And in the evening? Head to the hills. Aperitivo with a view and a panoramic dinner, surrounded by sunsets, soft lights, and a truly magical atmosphere.
Sunday
After a calm breakfast, set off towards San Luca: a walk under the porticos, peaceful and symbolic, to say goodbye to the city from above.
Before leaving, enjoy lunch in authentic neighbourhoods like Barca, Saffi or San Donato – less touristy, truly delicious.
Then it’s time to return home, with new memories, some photos, and the desire to come back soon.
From Saturday lunchtime to Sunday morning
A perfect Bleis-style weekend in Bologna? Here’s how we’d tell it.
Saturday
You’ve arrived, left your bags and feel a bit hungry? Start your visit with lunch at the Mercato delle Erbe, full of aromas and street food, or head to the Quadrilatero for tradition and flavour.
In the afternoon, explore the heart of the city: Piazza Maggiore, the Two Towers, the porticos and a few stops at shops, cafés and bookstores.
A visit to Santo Stefano is always worth it—or simply wander without rushing, taking in the atmosphere.
Feeling tired? Rest a bit at the hotel… then back out again! You can head up to the hills for an aperitivo with a view and a panoramic dinner, or stay downtown, among restaurants of every kind and a truly unique vibe.
Sunday
Start your day with a slow, rich breakfast at the hotel: take your time, relax and enjoy your Bolognese morning.
Then, set off towards the Sanctuary of San Luca: a symbolic uphill walk under the porticos, peaceful and quiet. The perfect way to close the weekend. Walk and let yourself be surprised by the view and the atmosphere you’ll find up there.
For lunch, choose one of the trattorias outside the city centre, where you’ll discover a more authentic, calmer, truer Bologna.
Finally, return to the hotel, collect your bags and set off again with new memories in your heart—and maybe the desire to recommend this weekend to someone you love!
